Q4049: How can I send plain text e-mail messages?

To send plain text e-mail messages:

Eudora Pro

  1. Click on the "Tools" menu.
  2. Select "Options".
  3. Click on the "Styled Text" icon under the Category heading.
  4. Select "Send plain text only"
  5. Uncheck the box labeld "Send the signature with styles"
Eudora

Outlook Express

  1. Click on the "Tools" menu.
  2. Select "Options".
  3. Click on the "Send" tab.
  4. In the "Mail Sending Format" section, select "Plain Text".

  5. Click the "Plain Text Settings" button under "Mail Sending Format"
  6. Adjust your settings as shown here:
